Project Overview

Water-penetration remedial works to an apartment within a multi-storey residential block next to Craig Park in Edmonton, carried out to trace and resolve persistent water ingress. Internally, plaster was stripped back to the walls and ceilings of the kitchen, living room and hallway, PermaSEAL damp-proofing applied to the affected areas, and the surfaces replastered, skimmed and redecorated. The external façade repairs were completed by abseil access, avoiding the cost and disruption of a full scaffold.

Works included:

• Stripping back of plaster to walls and ceilings within the kitchen, living room and hallway

• Application of PermaSEAL damp-proofing to areas affected by water ingress

• Replastering and skimming of the stripped-back walls

• Painting and redecoration of affected surfaces

• Abseil repair works to the external façade

Approach / Key Challenges
