Project Overview

Internal refurbishment and structural repairs to common areas of Peninsular House, addressing crack and brickwork damage caused by vibration from an adjacent construction site, carried out entirely out of hours.

Works included:

• Redecorations to common areas, lift lobbies and reception areas

• Crack repairs from the 4th to 9th floors caused by significant vibrations from the adjacent site

• Brickwork repairs requiring stainless steel reinforcing rods to be installed

• Re-plastering to areas where extensive damage was visible

• All works completed out of hours

  Approach / Key Challenges

Damage caused by vibration from an adjacent site required brickwork repairs with stainless steel reinforcing rods across six floors. With the building in normal occupied use, all works were carried out entirely out of hours.
