Project Overview

Common parts residential refurbishment to the Pump House Estate, renewing decorations, floor coverings and ironmongery across multiple blocks.

Works included:

• Internal decorations, carpeting to blocks 8-15 and 18-29, and Gallery acoustic vinyl to block 31-41

• Replacement of ironmongery

• Decorations to all previously painted surfaces, stonework, timber and railings

• Timber repairs to handrails

• New entrance matting

• Extensive preparation of the softwood staircase for new Bona Traffic Anti-Slip polyurethane varnish

• New floor coverings

Approach / Key Challenges

Works were phased across multiple blocks, with different floor coverings specified by block and the softwood staircases specially prepared for a Bona Traffic Anti-Slip polyurethane varnish to suit continued use by residents throughout.
