Project Overview
Reroofing and cladding decoration works to a commercial building, scaffolded on all elevations with high-level working platforms to renew the roof waterproofing and redecorate cladding and metalwork.
Works included:
Scaffold to all elevations with working platforms at high level
Temporary relocation of air conditioning plant and lightning protection systems
Removal of the existing three-layer waterproofing membrane system and Rockwool insulation
Reinstatement of new 100mm insulation over metal profile deck
Laying of Permanite Ultra prevENt membrane system
New colour-matched powder-coated aluminium capping to the perimeter parapet walls
Decoration of zinc cladding, timber and metalwork to Dulux-specified paint systems
Approach / Key Challenges
Air conditioning plant and lightning protection systems were temporarily relocated ahead of the main works, allowing the existing waterproofing and insulation to be fully renewed and the parapet recapped before cladding and metalwork were redecorated.
