St James' Mansions, West Hampstead

Project Overview

Completed in 1896, St James Mansions was one of the first mansion blocks to be built in the area. This grand block comprises of 43 flats, each built with two reception rooms and three to four bedrooms.

Works included:

  • Redecorations to all previously painted surfaces

  • Extensive masonry repairs

  • Brickwork repairs requiring stainless steel reinforcing rods to be installed

  • Re-plastering to areas where extensive damage was visible

  • Lead and roof repairs

  • Rainwater and waste pipe repairs

  • Glazing replacements

  • Designed access scaffold

  • Landscaping to the rear gardens

  • On site tenant liaison officer

  • 24hr monitored alarm throughout the duration of the works
